In the bid to assist the less privileged in the society, Helpline Foundation intervened to bring succor by opening a Charity shop aimed at subsidizing food items as well as other household items. This Charity Shop as well as making food items affordable to the less privileged has provided some employment to a number of people
More importantly, every sale made in the Charity Shop will enable the foundation raise funds for its activities i.e. Empowerment Initiative for Widows/Youth, Scholarship Scheme for Orphans and Vulnerable Children especially children orphaned by the HIV/AIDS pandemic.
The charity Shop is the first of its kind in Nigeria located in Kuje Area Council, Abuja and the organization hopes to increase its scope and capacity to reach more beneficiaries.
